Hanger Packaging Design

From concept to production I create packaging for multiple accounts including Ross, Sam’s Club, TJ Maxx, and more. Once mockups are approved I create print ready art files using Adobe Illustrator.

Neon Hanger Collection

Hot neon colors being on trend in fashion I developed a Neon Collection. Adding matte black hooks compliments the electric colors perfectly. With black packaging to match the hooks, iridescent silver hot foil stamping was used to make this design pop.

Heather Color Hanger Collection

Dark Heather gray was a staple color for us. To expand on its popularity we developed a “Heathered Collection”. Our factories mixed shades of velvet flocking to achieve the look of heathered colors. The direction of the packaging was to feel like home textile bedding packaging. Originally designed with blue accents, we later changed to pink to soften its look.

Iridescent Hook Hanger Collection

These iridescent hooks took over a year to develop. Once more of this metallic effect was in the market, seen in cutlery and home decor, it was finally affordable to produce. It was well worth the wait. These are spectacular and add a fun touch to your closet. Packaging began as youthful and colorful. When it was time for a refresh we went for something more sleek and modern. This iridescent hot foil stamping compliments the hooks perfectly and really pops off the gray background.

With the popularity of the adult sized Heather Collection we expanded to a children’s sized “Junior Collection” featuring the heather effect. Offering 5 beautiful colors in a 10 pack and the popular light gray in a 30 pack box set. We even added a separate matching clip that can be attached to the hanger for hanging bottoms. For the packaging of each item we wanted the three SKUs to match. To start, the white background goes well with any color option and really lets the hanger color shine. We wanted to select a pop of color that could be for boys or girls. This bright teal was perfect since the design was minimalistic we could go bold with the color.
